This connects to the World History class we took in ninth grade because we learned about Ancient Greece and the ancient Olympic Games. Now with the 2014 Winter Olympics coming up in Sochi, Russia athletes are remembering everything that got them to that point and some may even be thinking of the first Olympic Games where only men could compete and how far women athletes have come.

I like the topic you chose because it deals with a possible cheater in the Sochi Olympic Games. I would like to know more about the possible fraud and the modified boot. The last section of your blog was previously stated earlier in the blog post. I think you should find more information about the boot. Was there any other information about her that was interesting? What are your view points on the matter?
ReplyDeleteThe boot was heavier and modified to support Mills' foot better because she had torn ligaments earlier in the season. I thought it was interesting that after being accused of trying to evade the system she cursed and pushed the British Olympic Official.
